St. James offers the simple service of Compline Wednesday Evenings at 7:30 p.m. in St. Andrew Chapel (Please enter through the Welcome Center).

About Compline

The ancient office of Compline derives its name from a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. Led by the St. James Compline Choir, this sung service is the final prayer liturgy (or office) of the day in the Christian tradition of canonical hours, which are prayed at fixed prayer times.
