Music Institute of Chicago

St. James Cathedral is one of eight locations for the Music Institute of Chicago (MIC), which serves more than 2,000 students of all ages and ability levels. The Music Institute leads people toward a lifelong engagement with music through unparalleled teaching, exceptional performances, and valuable service initiatives that educate, inspire, and build strong communities. Choristers enrolled in the Choir School at St. James Cathedral receive a 50% scholarship toward music lessons at MIC.
