Summer in the City (SITC) is an important outreach ministry at St. James Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Chicago, offering a 3-week summer program of cultural enrichment for a diverse group of youth. St. James is seeking a new Director for SITC from January 2018, to lead a committed team of staff and volunteers.

The new SITC Director will be responsible to a cathedral-based Admin Team for program development, identifying cultural resources, recruiting program participants locally, leading and inspiring staff and volunteers and managing a substantial budget.

The post is full-time for 3 weeks in July every year and requires leadership in program development and planning throughout the year.
