Chicago Fire Walking Tour

Join Sally Sexton Kalmbach, renowned Chicago historian and tour guide, on Sunday, October 8 at 12:30 p.m. to commemorate the anniversary of the Chicago Fire of 1871.
Walk through the North Division neighborhood, the most devastated by the fire, for an illustrative perspective on the magnitude of the event and the enormous recovery efforts required to rebound from the disaster. Featuring maps, pictures, and fascinating personal stories of residents and their experiences the night of the fire and throughout the rebuild. Sally will immerse you in the fascinating facts of one of the most impactful events in Chicago's history.
The tour will take 90 minutes beginning at 12:30 p.m. Meet Sally on the St. James Commons Plaza on Huron.
$35 per person. All proceeds will go to St. James Outreach Ministries.
